It's one of the more contentious questions dogging the free enterprise system: Are true entrepreneurs born or made? Alan Hall, CEO of MarketStar, does nothing to bring resolution to that issue. On one hand, Hall himself will insist with evangelic fervor that entreprenurial success can be boiled down to a dozen fairly accessbile characteristics. On the other hand, Hall's own prosperity seems largely a product of the very way he sees the world around him: comparable to how most see the burden of dirt in need of cleaning where a farmer sees the potentail of soil in need of planting. more.

Alan Hall to speak at Ogden Exchange Club
Alan Hall, CEO of MarketStar Corporation and prominent civic leader will present Ogden's Changing Economic Face at the Ogden Exchange Club luncheon, Ogden Marriott Hotel, on Tuesday, May 17 at noon. Mr. Hall will share with the audience information gathered from the U.S. Census, Ogden City and Ogden City Schools on shifts in the inner-city population and the effect it has on the local economy.

Chairman of Hall Foundation to speak at UNA event
Alan Hall, Chairman of the Alan and Jeanne Hall Foundation will speak on Thursday, May 12 at 9:00 AM at The Utah Nonprofits Assocation Fund Raising Seminar. The seminar will be conducted at the West Valley City Cultural Celebration Center, 1335 West 3100 South. His topic is The Million Dollar Questions - What do foundations want from grant seekers?
